Vladimir URBANEK (CZ)
Vladimir Urbanek lives and works in Prague where he was born in 1973. He is a self-taught artist and has been painting and drawing for the past six years. He is not a professionist.Vladimír paints a broad range of subjects - still life, landscapes, portraiture, nudes, classic cars and for last couple of years his great passion - aviation subjects. His work is mostly dedicated to the Czechoslovak pilots and aviation in all kind of its periods in time. Vladimír's enthusiasm for aviation was inherited from his father,a keen glider pilot,and he also flies gliders and hang-gliders. His works have been exhibited widely in the Czech Republic on aviation events and airshows as well as abroad.
